Hi! I'm Bekah Black, and welcome to my writing blog. I'm a teen writer who hopes to become published someday, and I created this blog to be able to write my random thoughts down and to connect with other writers like me. :)
I write a variety of things - whatever comes to my mind. It's normally fantasy, sci-fi, and just general fiction. I'm good at coming up with names, and I tend to use a lot of dashes when I write. If you read my work long enough, you'll find that out for yourself.
I love reading(: Almost all my free time is spent with my nose in a book. I enjoy the Bible, Pride and Prejudice, Peter and the Starcatchers, Harry Potter, and many more. Yes - Harry Potter. I know some people think it's bad and don't like it, but J.K. Rowling is a really good author. I've learned many techniques from just reading her books. And if you're one of those people who are offended if someone reads Harry Potter - please don't be. I'm sure we can still be good friends. :)
I am a Christian. I love God with all my heart, and it's my goal to serve Him with my writing and shine His light through my actions. He's given the greatest gift of all, His Son, to me, and now I will give back to Him with what I have.
I'm a homeschooler from the States and the oldest of three younger siblings, all brothers and all rowdy. I'd rather climb a tree in sneakers than go shopping in high heels. Unless we're shopping for toys. Then I'd go, in my sneakers.
I'm a movie geek as well. Star Wars, Star Trek, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avengers --- if I'm allowed to see it, I've probably seen it. I can't really explain my geeky glory, but let's put it this way: my idea of classical music is movie soundtracks. ;)
